L’inverno si sta avviando al termine ma quando parliamo delle pulizie di primavera non è sufficiente spolverare casa.

Una gran parte delle famiglie italiane, infatti, durante l’inverno si scalda con il pellet e, per non rischiare di causare rotture ed incidenti alla propria stufa a pellet, è necessario effettuare una piccola manutenzione al termine di ogni inverno.

Pulizia di una stufa: da dove iniziare

Come abbiamo accennato, mediamente una volta l’anno va effettuata la manutenzione tecnica della stufa a pellet, compagna fedele dei giorni più freddi. Per una sommaria ma necessaria pulizia quotidiana della stufa a pellet vi suggeriamo di utilizzare un panno leggermente umido eventualmente coadiuvato da uno sgrassatore per la limpidezza del vetro frontale.

Una pulizia delle componenti bruciate è comunque consigliabile all’incirca una volta a settimana, tramite la rimozione del braciere e dello schienale in ghisa, che vanno grattati con una spazzola rigida al fine di rimuovere meglio la polvere. Vi ricordiamo che è meglio aspirare meccanicamente anche la trama del filtro della stufa a pellet e lavarlo sotto l’acqua corrente fredda, dunque riposizionarlo dopo averlo asciugato accuratamente.

Non solo stufe a pellet: la pulizia della canna fumaria

In caso disponiate di una canna fumaria in muratura collegata alla vostra stufa a pellet, la migliore tecnica di pulizia è quella tradizionale, con lo spazzolone da spazzacamini, che vi aiuterà a raschiare bene il tubo di scappamento dall’interno. Per la raccolta delle polveri bruciate in questo caso è meglio dotarsi di un bidone aspira cenere; quando aspirate le ceneri di una stufa a pellet vi sconsigliamo l’aspirapolvere tradizionale, a causa della troppa sottigliezza delle componenti volatili del pellet, che tenderebbero a rimanere incastrate procurando danni al vostro elettrodomestico. Se, invece, la vostra canna fumaria è di alluminio, quindi smontabile, vi suggeriamo di staccarla e lavarla con acqua fredda corrente raschiandola bene con lo spazzolone.
